Buyers vs Sellers; who plays who

There are five god awful teams this year in the NHL, all of which have dreams of drafting Connor McDavid with the first pick overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.  Arizona, Toronto, Buffalo, Carolina & Edmonton are plainly obvious sellers; some of those teams have been and will be accused of tanking. On the other hand we have teams doing whatever it takes to sneak into the playoffs. Three teams in the East (Flyers, Panthers & Bruins) are battling for the final Wild card berth. In the West there is a bigger logjam. The Flames, Kings, Sharks, Canucks, Jets & Stars are fighting for three spots within the playoffs.

 As of today
WPG 70 PTS ( 23 games remaining
VAN 67 PTS (25 games remaining)
CGY 67 PTS(23 games remaining)
SJ 66 PTS (24 games remaining)
